Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism control in the articles sent to the Journal of the Turkic World Women Studies is Turnitin, iThenticate etc. taken from the programs. Matches appearing in each article are examined and errors are detected and reported to the editorial board. The editorial board makes its final decision for each article based on the plagiarism report. The article is rejected if the author copies information from other people, does not refer to the information provided by the author from her/his previous work, and "duplicate".

In the control of plagiarism, the Journal of the Turkic World Women Studies limited the similarity rate to a single basis:

The similarity rate should be below 20% for the full text.

The similarity rate for a single source should be below 3%.

NOTE: Pursuant to the editorial board decision taken on 14.09.2021, the plagiarism policy has been arranged as above. The previously determined similarity rate (for the full text should be below 25% and a single source similarity rate is not sought) is valid for the articles sent before the said date and in progress.
